The Citadel opens in Toronto
TORONTO – A 100-year-old Salvation Army dispensary gets a new lease on life today as the home of the acclaimed contemporary dance troupe Coleman Lemieux & Compagnie (CLC). The faded Salvation Army Citadel name is intact on the façade of the three-storey red brick building on Parliament Street. Inside, Diamond Schmitt Architects has designed performance, rehearsal and living space in support of the dancers’ commitment to community renewal.
