Recreation

Sports and recreation, like the arts, can be an expression of human endeavour at its most noble. The task of architecture is to provide the accommodation commensurate with that high ideal.

Participation in sports and recreation can be active as well as passive. Thus the confort and enjoyment of the spectator should be given equal consideration.
