Vineland Master Plan and Design Concept
Vineland Research and Innovation Centre
This recently completed campus master plan includes state-of-the-art wet labs, greenhouses and convergence facilities for an expanded research facility.
The existing 85 acre site is comprised of 30 existing buildings, research crop fields for horticultural and viticultural research and study facilities for the University of Guelph.
A new 105,000 square foot research centre will accommodate wet and dry labs as well as the administrative and outreach functions of Vineland. The program includes provision for public engagement and display areas, conference rooms, event spaces and interactive exhibits. The new building provides a linkage between two existing buildings thereby contributing directly to the Innovation Centre’s mission of encouraging collaboration and cross-disciplinary cooperation amongst researchers.
