
David Dow
Biography
David graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Dundee, Scotland, and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Waterloo, where he received the graduating class award for design excellence. Throughout his career he has brought considerable design and management expertise to architectural projects of varying complexity and size.
Since joining Diamond and Schmitt Architects in 1999, he has managed a wide range of institutional, health-care, commercial, recreational and residential projects, including the Bahen Centre for Information Technology at the University of Toronto, the Corus Quay office building on Toronto’s waterfront, the Hudson and Charlie Condominiums in Toronto, the Computer Science and Engineering Building at the University of Michigan, Varsity Stadium in Toronto and the New Research Building at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. He is currently the lead designer of the $85 million Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary and manager of multiple residential projects.
